Andrew Pantano, as the successful owner of Culinary Creations with his wife, JoAnn, during covid he started a donation link which enabled him to feed all the frontline workers. For the Hillsborough Seniors that were not able to get out, he delivered free meals to ensure they were fed. He partnered with our community’s St Joseph’s Catholic Church and offered consolation meals to those that were losing loved ones and even catered for the Pope when he visited the United States. Andrew was a blessing and inspiration to all of us and he is missed greatly by all his family and friends. To honor of the memory of Andrew the UNICO Hillsborough chapter donated a new bench to be used at the Italian Bocce court in Anne Van Dam Park in Hillsborough and dedicated it to him.
The ceremony was held on Saturday, April 23, at Ann Van Dam Park with Hillsborough UNICO President Nathan Santaromita, Mayor Sean Lipani and UNICO member, Deputy Mayor Frank Del Core, speaking to Andrew’s wife, JoAnn, and all his family who were present for the dedication.
The Hillsborough Chapter of UNICO was chartered on November 20, 2009. Andrew Pantano was a charter member and through the years his desire to help our community was evident after he left the organization when he continued to support the chapters charity efforts by donating gift baskets for our comedy night fundraisers.
